Welcome to ILab, the Interfaces Engineering Laboratory

Using a combination of atomistic simulations and theories (augmented by simple experiments), ILab works on the synthesis, mechanics, catalysis, and radiation damage of interfaces - including surfaces, grain boundaries and hetero-interfaces.

• February 24, 2010: Yi Yang has successfully passed his PhD defense at RPI.
• February 24, 2010: A former PhD graduate of the group, Jian Wang, has been selected as one of the only two individuals to receive the FY09 Postdoctoral Distinguished Performance Award at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
• February 24, 2010: A former post-doc fellow of the group, Haiyi Liang, has been selected as a "100 Talent Scholar" Professor by University of Science and Technology of China.
