    Research Areas: My research areas of interest are nanofabrication, surface science, and nano-enabled technologies. My
                                   "toolset" for research includes experience in device design and construction (UHV and high temperature
                                   fabrication systems), syntheses  (UHV, high temperature and wet chemical syntheses of metal and metal
                                   oxide thin films), and characterization (SEM, TEM, XRD, thermal, electrochemical). My long term research
                                   goal is to utilize the unique properties that emerge when materials take on nanoscale dimensions to enable
                                   the emergence of new or improved technologies.

                                   secondary layer. Also looking into a superhydrophobic layer with variable wetability for corrosion and
